If you have been on the sidelines about buying a home at the Jersey Shore, now is the time to start looking. Often vacation homes are driven by the strength of rentals. Last summer we saw a strong rental season from Atlantic City to Wildwood. It appears this is correlating into a stronger vacation home market. The Wall Street Journal just had an excellent article, Market for Vacation Homes Is on the Rise, highlighting the strength of vacation rental homes. Sales in many vacation communities across the U.S. soared last year to levels not seen since boom times, driven by deep discounts, cash purchases and buyers' rising stock portfolios.
