Events of late make Atlantic City poised for a boom.  Chris Christie signing 2 landmark bills at the Revel, the sale of Trump Marina, and numerous new real estate projects like 101 Boardwalk, make Atlantic City relevant again. 

I thought this was a fitting picture sent in by local Realtor and oceanfront home specialist Ian Lazarus.

It was a beautiful February evening in Atlantic City, as the sun set behind the under construction Revel Hotel & Casino.

New Jersey foreclosures now take average of 849 days

According to this excellent article, Bottom Lines: Foreclosures in New Jersey now take an average 849 days.  It is now taking on average 849 days for the foreclosure process to take place. 

The fallout of the nationwide robo-signing  issue.  The foreclosure process has been extremely slowed.  According to Kevin Post, "By putting off the resolution of the foreclosure crisis and the return to a normal housing market, the robo-signing crisis has substantially extended how long housing will be a drag instead of a boost to the economy. Among builders, Realtors and analysts, the common guess I’ve heard is that the foreclosure mess will drag out an extra year now."

Dave Matthews Band playing Atlantic City festival?

According to the Atlantic City Weekly blog, it looks like the Dave Matthews Band will be headlining a 3 day music festival in June.  According to reports the festival is going to be held at Bader Field on June 24th, 25th, and 26th.

Condos and Foreclosures in Atlantic City

Its a beautiful morning on the Jersey Shore.  Many opportunities are available to purchase a condo at the Jersey Shore.  This beautiful picture was taken from one of the oceanfront condos at The View in Atlantic City.

Unlike much of the country, we have not seen a large number of foreclosures at the Jersey Shore.

Revel approved for NJ state tax reimbursement

Just reported by The Press of Atlantic City, the Revel Hotel & Casino has been approved for a $261 million state tax reimbursement.  Looks like a great development for Atlantic City.

Chris Christie to sign 2 bills at site of Revel Casino

As we reported earlier in the week it looks like a plan is being put in place to start, the Revel Hotel & Casino project.  (The Revel is located just down the boardwalk from our project, The View at 101 Boardwalk.)

According to The Press of Atlantic City, Governor Chris Christie will be at the atrium of the Revel to sign 2 bills.
